Foundation Properties Inc. is hiring a Leasing Coordinator to manage leasing activity across a growing portfolio of nearly 300 apartment units in Fredericton and surrounding areas. This is a dynamic role that blends structured systems with a strong people-facing component — focused on guiding prospective tenants from first inquiry through to signed lease.

If you’re outgoing, confident, and energized by meeting new people, while still being organized enough to manage multiple inquiries, schedules, and follow-ups, this could be the perfect fit. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the pace of a sales environment and the structure of a well-run system.

This position reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the Administrative Assistant, Maintenance Technician, and Resident Building Coordinators. It is a coordinator-level role focused on execution, communication, and results — not senior-level decision-making or operational leadership.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage leasing from first inquiry to signed lease, including pre-screening, follow-up, and conversion

  • Schedule and conduct showings, delivering a professional and engaging experience

  • Coordinate with Maintenance and Building Coordinators to ensure units are ready and well-presented

  • Manage applications, lease preparation, signing, and move-in coordination

  • Monitor vacancies, turnover timelines, and leasing pipeline

  • Manage rental listings, advertising platforms, and marketing performance

  • Handle lease renewals and support tenant retention

  • Track leasing activity, analytics, and conversion trends

  • Provide regular updates on leasing performance and market feedback

  • Support a high-quality tenant experience through professional communication and onboarding

  • Take ownership of leasing results and identify opportunities to improve occupancy

  • Coordinate with the Administrative Assistant for support with administrative tasks

  • Perform other duties that support leasing performance and revenue

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or a people-facing role would be an asset

  • Strong communication skills — both written and in-person

  • Comfortable interacting with new people and leading conversations

  • Strong computer skills (Gmail, Word, Excel, smartphone-based apps, and digital platforms)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, and follow-ups

  • Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

  • Ability to work full-time in a flexible environment (office and on-site showings)
